Certification and Compliance
Spencer D. J. Powell, representing Spencer D. J. Powell Hospitality & Services, is certified under both the Serving It Right and FoodSafe programs in British Columbia, Canada. These certifications ensure that Spencer operates in compliance with provincial laws and best practices regarding food safety and the responsible service of alcohol.

Spencer D. J. Powell Hospitality & Services is committed to upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism during the provision of services. Every effort will be made to create and maintain a safe environment for all participants.
Client and Participant Responsibility
While Spencer and his team will work diligently to promote safety, the client acknowledges and agrees that they and their participants are ultimately responsible for their own actions and well-being during any event or service.
Assumption of Risk
By engaging Spencer D. J. Powell Hospitality & Services, the client accepts the inherent risks associated with events involving food and beverage service. The client also accepts responsibility for ensuring the appropriate behavior and safety of all event attendees.
Liability Disclaimer
Spencer D. J. Powell Hospitality & Services cannot be held liable for any injuries, illnesses, damages, or other incidents arising from the actions of event participants or circumstances beyond the company’s reasonable control.
Compliance with Laws
The client agrees to comply with all applicable laws and regulations during the event, including those relating to alcohol consumption and food safety.
Indemnity
The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Spencer D. J. Powell Hospitality & Services, its employees, and contractors from any claims, losses, or damages arising from the client’s or participants’ actions during the event.
Cancellations and Refunds
Events canceled by the client may still incur charges for costs already incurred by Spencer D. J. Powell Hospitality & Services. These costs may include, but are not limited to:
Ingredients purchased for the event.
Prep work or pre-event services completed.
Research and development (R&D) specific to the client’s event.
Refunds for canceled events will be issued on a case-by-case basis, less the above costs.
Once an event or service has been completed, it is considered non-refundable.
Acknowledgment of Terms
By engaging the services of Spencer D. J. Powell Hospitality & Services, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
